Our Services
Three services, one
measured approach.
Each service we offer is designed around the same belief — that family legal matters deserve time, restraint, and genuine attention.
Return to HomeOur Methodology
How we approach every matter.
Every matter we accept begins with listening. Not fact-gathering for a file, but listening in the fuller sense — taking time to understand the situation as the family experiences it, not only as the law categorises it.
From that foundation, we develop an assessment that distinguishes between what is legally significant and what is not, and between what can be resolved quietly and what may eventually require a more formal pathway.
We prefer negotiated outcomes where they remain available, not out of conflict avoidance but because, in our experience, families tend to sustain arrangements they have shaped themselves better than those handed down by proceedings.
Throughout, we communicate in plain language, provide written notes after substantive meetings, and respond to enquiries within one working day. The pace is determined by the matter — not by internal scheduling pressures.
Still-Water Sitting
A first sitting in which the client describes the family situation and receives a measured initial view. A short written summary follows. Family members may attend.
This service stands alone. No commitment to continued engagement is expected or assumed. The written summary you receive after the sitting is yours to consider in your own time.
Patient Course in Divorce Matters
A representation service in divorce matters, conducted at a measured pace, with quiet outcomes preferred where they are possible. We handle the full scope of proceedings — from initial advice through to resolution.
Where uncontested divorce is achievable, we work toward it. Where the matter is contested, we represent our clients with care for both the legal outcome and the family relationships that will continue beyond the proceedings.
Considered Mediation
Mediation work in custody and maintenance disputes, conducted with restraint and at the family's pace. Our Senior Counsel is an accredited mediator through the Singapore Mediation Centre.
The aim of mediation is not to reach an agreement quickly — it is to reach an agreement that both parties understand and can live by. Children's welfare guides the process throughout, and the family's own pace is respected at each stage.
Choosing a Service
Which service is right for your situation?
A first sitting is always a sound starting point if you are uncertain. The sitting will clarify which pathway is appropriate and what it would involve. The table below may also help.
